The Story

Made from what the morning throws away

Britain gets through millions of takeaway coffee cups a day. Almost none are recycled — the plastic lining sees to that — so most are burned or buried within an hour of the last sip. These notebooks start exactly there. The paper is rescued from those cups and given a second, longer life, then paired with waste from brewing that would otherwise have been poured down the drain.

Three rulings, because one page never fits every thought

Plain for sketching and thinking out loud. Lined for the notes that run long. Dotted for plans, lists and anything that wants a little structure. You get one of each in the set, so whatever the day asks for, the right page is already in your bag — no compromising on the wrong grid halfway through an idea.

Built to be used, then to disappear

Saddle-stitched with rounded corners so it survives being carried, and a spine that opens easily without cracking. The paper takes fountain pen, biro and pencil cleanly. And when the last page is full, it goes straight into your recycling or compost — a notebook that ends as gently as it began.
